Redesigns aren’t inherently mean spirited and yet I have such a hard time navigating when I see them because so many are done out of malice or spite. It’s really unfortunate. It feels like it needs a “I’m not a hater” disclaimer every time for fans to safely engage. That’s so frustrating.

I would be throwing chairs at the wall and screaming at sudden noises if I got one fifth the amount of persistent online harrassment Medrano gets, and so would any of the people sending it to her.

It's frustrating that despite the widespread parasocial animosity directed at Vivzie, many will continue to criticize her for being even a little defensive; regardless if you dislike her show, it's undeniable that she's human, and having this much animosity to her is extremely detrimental.

This week alone she been getting hit with so much awful stuff too some straight up sexual harassment or calling her racist and now she getting some entitled fan acting like she a horrible human being for a blink and you miss it detail she didn’t put in. Idk she is stronger then me

And so much of it, at least what I've seen, is people not understanding that bad guys often get away with doing bad things. Especially abusers.
Portraying things accurately is in no way endorsing them.
It's like Animorphs, sometimes there are no happy endings.
