Crazy how elitist gaming has become in that way. Like if you don't have the highest end consoles, the most expensive games with all the DLC, that somehow make you less of a gamer.

I've experienced this! I think it might be a bit of a miscommunication between our outward tone and facial expression. If you have naturally flatter speech or don't make many facial expressions, neurotypical people can misinterpret that as "dislike" because they're not used to it.
