Ever the eccentric enigma. Live boldly, or merely exist.
I'd rather watch both, and enjoy them for the different things they offer. Both companies are doing some great things.

Okada/Danielson, Forbidden Door 2024.

100%. No more of that nonsense in grocery stores either. Doesn't make all of us want to buy more. Makes MANY of us want to buy less and leave faster.

Top 40 has been creatively bankrupt but insanely rich for decades. The level of propaganda and wealth hoarding is akin to corrupt political regimes.

Thanks for sticking up for game devs. So many people take them for granted.

Best of luck. And don't let anyone ever tell you you're selfish for doing it.

Thanks, and same to you!

Indeed. Thankfully, there seems to be less of them in the business than when I was growing up.

I honestly used to feel dirty being a wrestling fan, given how conservative the industry used to be.

Hell yeah. I want everyone to get work, get reps and get exposure. Even if they're not my favourites.

I went in there to buy an Xbox last week, and it reminded me of going to a record store chain in the late 2000's/early 2010's, where they mostly sold DVDs of movies and TV shows.

Maybe 10% was games, mostly the clearance rack. Much like music, indie retail will ironically outlast the big box model.

You're spot on with that assessment. This is why I liked the idea of Collision and Dynamite originally having somewhat separate rosters. They do still feel like very different shows at least.

There are plenty of talents that could use the airtime, like Britt Baker or Scorpio Sky.

They can make stars, it's just been a while since they have. There is an unfortunate tendency to not get those stars to the next level.

Whoever takes the title off Mox needs to be someone who is a first time world champion, and not a former WWE talent. Hopefully it's Ospreay, or a returning Darby.

It's amazing how people think it's bad. People in most industries especially change jobs often, and going to a competitor is fine.

Some people either don't know, or simply forget how much harder it was to make a living off wrestling before 2019. Now we as fans also get the fun of free agent season.

On the plus side, those released WWE talent will have a chance to get more reps in elsewhere. Many of them were hardly being utilized.

Not justifying the layoffs, but there was a lot of great talent whose careers were totally stagnant, and they can hopefully be rejuvenated.

Great poster. More promotional material like this please. Whoever created this is doing a hell of a job.

This guy was my favourite wrestler for years. Brilliant gimmick and performer.
January 29, 2025 at 6:29 PM
He's a diarrhea poster. His ideas aren't even fully formed anymore.
January 24, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Thanks for saying this. Needed to be said.

You don't have to be an escapist. A lot of people enjoy the grounding nature of life simulation games.

Then there are the rare games that manage both life simulation/replacement and escapism, which are my favourites.

He did it twice. The second time facing away. If there was any doubt on the first instance (and there wasn't), the second confirmed it. Game over.
January 21, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Good point. Sometimes people forget that games, for many, are escapism, and not merely a life simulator or replacement.

Intriguing. And depressing. So much for being literal OGs ...
January 20, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Quite possibly. He was openly railing against Trump years ago. Maybe he looks at Trump as being the king of the gangstas. He can literally get away with anything so in a sense, he is.
January 20, 2025 at 6:45 PM
I don't think he's so much a bad person as a weak one. He's become the system, when he used to be a disruptor.
