There's a book collection contest at my university and I wanted to do it but it's too late. I have a bunch of textbooks for medicine, vet med, psych, chemistry, as old as 1920's. I really want to try next year, that way I can start actively collecting again

Tbt the time I was psych inpatient after a wreck. My roommate had DID and I was the only one nice to her. The medical Dr was dismissive of my pain from a literal car accident. The Dr got snotty and my roommate shifted into protector mode. She cornered the Dr, and demanded an apology. I miss her tbh
