NPR and PBS will continue to exist without CPB (unless more draconian measures are taken, which is possible)…small stations like us are the baby being tossed out with the bath water.
Make no mistake, I applaud what you’ve done!

I am a General Manager of one of those rural radio stations, and we are in an existential crisis. We provide critical services to our community…yet we will likely cease to exist if CPB funding is eradicated, which is all but certain.

I love this! But if I may, a bit of clarification. The organization that is threatened is the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, long a target of the right. They provide grants for NPR, PBS, and rural radio stations. 1/

I would like to agree with you, except, just as we are in a post-truth post-fact world, I think we are in a post-history world as well. There’s no narrative that’s ever going to be agreed upon. If J6 can be turned into a “day of love”, a narrative that’s accepted by the cult, accountability is over.
