I see a lot of AI edits of non-AI content (one of Hasan’s most popular clip channels is AI), and occasionally will engage, but the purely generative stuff is so off putting. Anecdotally I’ve noticed a lot of friends who used to be extremely online log off. But it’s hard to tell if it’s a trend.

I can only speak to anecdotal and personal evidence, but i think these kinds of figures absolutely move peoples' opinons. it 100% happened on the right last election and it's happening on the left now. especially re: palestine, i think hasan has had a huge impact on moving very online libs left

I know I'm in a liberal bubble but I really do think /most/ Americans agree that Canada has every right to respond by taxing and/or boycotting our goods and doing what you can to hurt American business & consumers. This is all so fucking stupid. Nobody wins here.

I think in his prosperity doctrine bullshit (which is the closest thing to a consistent worldview this man has), he really believes he's invincible and that he'll always be a winner. He can do whatever he wants & spin it like it's a victory. I don't really don't think it's a secret 4D chess move.

Came here to ask the same thing. I live in Eagle rock and just got an alert at 3:58am with no context or additional info. Nothing on the fire app and no one else in my house got it. 🤦🏻♀️
