Well, it's definitely NOT the SMF rabbit. It, IMHO, disrupts the open space of the terminal. (that said, I'm very glad they didn't choose a giant tomato, Sacramento's claim to fame in the past)

Since the president wants to reward women for having large families, and celebrate winning wars, maybe his friend Vladimir has some spare Soviet medals lying about that we could get at a good price (art of the deal!).

Timeshare on a Honeywell mainframe, accessed via a teletype and a dial up 110 baud modem. Programs were saved by punching to paper tape (left hand device is the reader/punch). I think we had 512 bytes of working memory available. This was the early 1970s.

It's January 1st, and I've spent most of the day on the patio reading. The patio is on the south side of the house, so it's been quite comfortable. Now it's time to start grilling the tri-tip. Life in the hills of Northern Arizona is going great.

You've got to check out the old terminal in Prescott AZ. The waiting room has a fireplace to keep the passengers warm while waiting for a cold winter flight.
The building now houses a diner and some offices, so you can enter during business hours. A neat historical artifact.

My goldfish are 9-15 years old. Now that they're in a room exposed to natural sunlight, they've shifted to a nocturnal lifestyle - sleep all day, party all night.

My favorite playground in the world, Dennis the Menace Park in Monterey CA opened in the mid-50s. It had merry go rounds, a suspension bridge you could jump off of, and a real steam locomotive you could climb on. Heaven for this 2-year old.
The park still exists.
