I always avoided this extension because it seemed sketchy— I assumed it was harvesting browsing data. The reality is surprisingly sinister, even for PayPal.
this video about the honey extension is fucking WILD. i have always figured that the extension was either a data harvesting scheme or some sort of other scam, but i did not realize just how much it's fucking everyone over. paypal truly is the devil.
