It took me 3 weekends to build and release a fully functioning mobile app on both iOS and Android.

React native with Expo + Firebase, react native paper for UI.

Now it's approaching 500 total downloads.

This project taught me how to MVP.

I've been using Cursor for 2 months now. It's Terrible at debugging. It's Great at repetitive tasks. It's like a smarter version of intellisense.

Don't think our jobs are in danger *yet* though.

Get a job.

Work really freaking hard.

Learn everything you can.

Build solid relationships.

Then start a business.

The only thing keeping me a float whilst I indie hack and follow my dreams?

The relationships I built with the companies I've worked for.

It took us 8 months to build Autigma.

An automated social media scheduling platform targeting indie game developers.

It's been out for 2 months now, and we have no paying users.

This project taught me how NOT to MVP.

Not giving up on it though, we'll market till we bleed.

YouTube shorts are proving to be a good marketing tool for Rocket Trainer.

The spikes in views correlate directly to downloads. Surely
I'll get better at making the shorts over time as well.

Downloads:
iOS: 219
Android: 119

Revenue:
2$ 🥲

We grind on.

When you start seeing the worlds problems as opportunities, ideas are everywhere.

Day 1 of advertising for Autigma on Reddit.

12$ spent
83 clicks
0 sign-ups.

These insights are telling me that there is interest but our landing page is not converting.

it might be too soon to say. We'll let the week long campaign run, before making any changes

Thoughts?

Hey #buildinpublic, Im Tv!

I've spent the year working mainly on 2 apps.

Autigma - A tool to help indie game developers market their games.

RocketTrainer - A mobile app to help Rocket League gamers train, and track their training.

I'll keep posting my journey over here!

Please say hi :)
