The military is build up out of regular americans. You'd hope they didn't have their conscience and moral fiber fully drilled out of them.
Asking them to kill their own theoretical family members and friends should give them at least some pause.

I have friends in Minneapolis among other places in the US. I hate I have to worry about them being iced for being sane and standing up to injustice and dictatorship, and it makes me more emotional than I would normally be.

There's a difference between people who've lived under a repressive regime for 70 years and people who had a representative democracy up to a year ago and call themselves "the freeest country in the world."

The gop has taken over everything, no matter if they're allowed to by law or not.
All the checks and balances have failed because they have been taken over by people who care more about personal profit and power than the good of the country.
No matter what is said, I don't see this ending well.
