This week is one of my favorites of the year because I get to photograph for Y’all Rock Carbondale - a music program for girls, trans, and gender non-conforming youth. Campers form a band, write a song, create a logo, print shirts, and perform in front of a live audience all in one week 🤘

Went to the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in Owensboro, KY last night to see Mighty Poplar and it was one of those “holy shit” kinda shows 🤩

My most anticipated show of the year is tmrw - The Woodbox Gang will release their first album in 12 years 🙌 One of the first bands I began photographing over 20 years ago and some of my favorite musicians, it’s gonna be stellar. I’ve been photographing Bosco & Whiteford both as a musical act and their family portraits for decades, and I love this light painting portrait we did in the moonlight 🌝 They’re a staple in the Southern Illinois community and good friends.
