Another thing that helps for what I want in a sketch is line of action, which I demonstrated very roughly here for a Discord friend.

Essentially, making sure every part of a pose (be it limbs, appendages like tails/hair/ears) follow the line of action.

Omg I love it so much, the machine ambience is so perfect.
Would absolutely fall asleep to that

Just any advice on a starting point would mean the world. I love studying so if you have material or just a place to begin looking would be immense. I have tried doing any Gesture/figure drawing again after people told me I wasn't doing proper gesture drawing .w.

I tried following gesture drawing guides on YouTube when I learned what gesture drawing was. But apparently I was doing it wrong and I was figure drawing instead.

Anatomy both loose and strict has been my biggest hurdle that has made me afraid to draw anything but head and chest.

I really like your drawings, they are so stylized and full of life and motion.
I was hoping maybe you can give me a little advice on how to start towards that. I struggle a ton with bodies and have been back and forth with it. Focusing too much on anatomy too early, trying to be more loose
