One of the most interesting things I've noticed when looking through old anime magazines is not was printed in them, but the stuff previous owners write in them. For example, in my copy of the December 1996 issue of Animerica, you can see where its first owner was shopping for a CD in the ads.

The first item of note is that they put in a game that showed the history of the magazine and certain notable issues. This is only a partial image.
