My way to weed out scammers is to simply ask questions about which one of my pieces did they see specifically that caused them to reach out, mention the contract that I use (signed and notarized) and that work doesn't begin until payment is cleared, contract signed, etc. They never ever have replied

and they decide to take it as if it's a personal attack when you say "Wanting 3 album covers fully painted and rendered in that style for what you have as a budget is asinine unless you manipulate someone into working for pennies an hour" and then reveal themselves as being fine with taking

and learn new styles and techniques, but when I go to attempt it; it just feels so off. So you erase and try over and over and over again... until youre like 20 hours into a piece that is supposed to look sketchy and unfinished and flowy... but it doesn't. It just looks fucked.

Respectfully disagree with this one, I ended up enjoying it more than the original (which I hated actually). Is it great? Nope. But def not the worst of the year in my little brain 😊

Each piece I cant go back and fix mistakes I see afterwards at all, and I see so many mistakes it's asinine BUT I spend way too much time nitpicking things and wanting to redo things instead of pushing myself to just make the next piece better.

It's a bad habit.
