I must admit, I battled a bit of imposter syndrome before the event. I never anticipated such recognition, but everything I do is driven by my love for our community.

My apologies to Congressman Soto and those who were there, I got a little too passionate in my speech and said a bad word.

My biography will now be included in the Congressional Record. It was a truly humbling experience to stand among several remarkable individuals, all dedicated advocates and heroes in their own right.
