i want to have a book club with my partner to read the books together so we can enjoy the actually satisfying story together ... once again liam hemsworth being geralt isn't even noticeable considering how annoying everything else is

i was trying to continue watching as an AU show, but even the pacing of the show itself falls apart in episode 7. yen can tp in and out of the heart of nilfgaard's castle, then directly to geralt in some random swamp but oh.. she can't find ciri to portal to her so the story continues 😭 what??

i think if they were going to cut some major plot lines from the books they might as well have cut out a lot of the filler too.

like why are there so many angry mobs of people given minutes of screen time every episode 😐

why not use the limited run time a show has to actually progress the story 😭

it's really annoying me lol

ciri's story with the rats is being rushed

the lodge of sorceresses story was rewritten just so yennefer could be on screen

geralt's company is the only thing keeping me watching but the acting of the people they keep running into makes it feel like a fucking joke 😭

also i realised it feels like a parody of the books s4 is based on

they swap or remove characters and plot points at weird times in the story, skip important pacing and plot points or completely change the tone

and they wanted yennefer in the tv show so bad they rewrote most of the story... 😐

i saw vanilla's stream clip about going back to therapy

it made me think about how i pay for therapy every month just to talk when i could've been seeing a peer worker for free this whole time 😭

my psychologist is amazing i love working with her but i didn't know about peer work as an option too 🤷🏻‍♀️

in australia and specifically victoria where i live, peer workers are usually free to see at wellbeing centres or you can join peer support groups as well to have people to talk to without the pressure or high costs of seeing a therapist frequently.

i've almost finished my course to be one ✨

i want to return to posting art and streaming games/creating on twitch but at the moment life is so much that it's going to take me a bit longer to have the time and energy.

in usual neet fashion i am also working on rebranding my stream setup Again and hoping that i will have it ready in time.

i've got ~6 weeks left of my course before i can start a new career in the mental health sector 🌟

i'm proud to be on the other side of this year considering it has been one of the most challenging for me in my adulthood, and it's not even my saturn return yet 😵
