Been a while, lol... Sorry guys. At any rate, Im feeling better and this page was a mess of rewrites towards the bottom. Im still not 100% sure how I feel, but the general sentiment is still there and is hopefully easier to understand.

Sonic places dishes into a dishwasher, asing shadow, "so what's it like working at GUN? Is it true you're gonna help them do zone checks?" "That's confidential." Shadow responds. "Right..." Sonic continues, as the sink flows. "And how's the team holding up with GUN at the helm?" "You mean Topaz?" Shadow asks, with sonic continuing, "She help unlock any fancy new powers or gizmos?" In the third panel, Sonic washes dishes as shadow drys them, with Shadow questioning, "Why are you asking about my team?" "I'm just wonder'n how Topaz manages a world class thief, a sapient walking arsenal, and the ultimate lifeform." Shadow responds dryly, "She knows our strengths." "And?" "...And what?" Sonic speeds through washing, becoming a bit impatient, "Team Dark's all over the news, an' before I getta chance to challenge you guys, you're split up again!" Shadow stands by, staring in confusion, as sonic continues, "Listen, our whole 'thing' is outdoing each other-- I can't even see you guys train or nothin'!" Sonic continues pressuring Shadow in the last panel, "How am I suppose to be your rival if I aint got nothing to rival off of?" Referring to being unable to one up shadow, if he isn't sure where shadow's power level is at... The whining finally results in shadow sighing, "Fine, if it shuts you up, GUN is just making sure we're still able to handle missions individually after so many complex cases. I can't give details, but..." He whips a plate dry, considering what to say. In a dark flashback in an undisclosed location, a raid plays out. Rogue's silhouette is seen overlooking a base with two men in heavy gear, transporting unknown goods and carrying rifles. The cameras are covered by hearts. Shadow explains, Rogue often secures the area, hiding in shadows and blind spots, assessing what we do and don't know and taking out targets as needed. Hijacking cameras and clearing paths without arousing suspicion." In the next panel, Shadow peeks down a hall, covered in all black. He eyes a man with an assault rifle and prepares the attack, as Sonic laughs at the idea, "Sounds like rogue alright-- minus the stealin'" Shadow explains, "What she does in the dark is none of my concern, so long as I can get to the target." He continues in the next panel, leaping into the air and round house kicking the man, elaborating, " That said, I hate waiting... Why waste time sneaking when you can just knock them out and run past?" He fails to notice a mobian chameleon blending into the back, coming after him. Rogue quickly subdues the mobian in the following panel, much to Shadow's surprise, although he does elude to this, saying "It becomes annoying when they have heavy armor or mobians on their side..." Sonic makes light of this, "Annoying? Surely nothing annoys someone as level headed as you..." In the final panel, shadow seems to address a ground of unknown individuals, cast in shadow. They could be the target, GUN opratives or criminals, it's unclear. He raises an emerald and a finger to tell them to stay quiet. "Between her and Topaz, I can utilize my speed and chaos control to the best of my ability. Once I have the target secured and traps set, omega gets to have fun." In the first panel, Gun agents follow Omega, who uses a massive wall of a sheild to charge into battle, sliding the metal walls along the floor in dramatic Omega style. The shield boasts a GUN logo, but the only logo on the robot in a "G" on his lower legs. Shadow explains that, "He likes to charge in and surprise them, tanking their bullets as GUN collects. He'd rather blast through them, but that's not usually an option, so GUN is trying to create a reward system that let's him go wild, afterwards." Back to the kitchen, Sonic washes as Shadow dries, Sonic joking that, "you could say he's programmed to kill'." But Shadow quickly defends his team, "It's in his nature, yes. He was created to ravage anyone who threatens his creator." In the following panel is a shot of Omega guarding Shadow's capsule from "sonic heroes", as shadow continues, "But he was also built to guard... Protection is also part of his core coding." In the second to last panel, the sink is being emptied. Shadow's voice seems to becomes more tense, "But his code should not negate his sapience. He's much more than a code driven machine, yet many at GUN call Omega and "it". "that robot"." Sonic misunderstands, or maybe just tries to lighten the mood, accepting Omgea as a "Boy, got it!" with a thumbs up. Shadow is quick to jump back, "Gender isn't the issue, sonic! It doesnt matter the pronoun used, it's the inherent implication that he's not a person, but a tool." Sonic shrugs, "Not for nothin' but maybe a voice update might help... Myabe some digital eyes, idk." In the first panel, sonic begins removing his washing gloves as Shadow gives him a questionable observation, confusing the blue hedgehog, "You're often immature and terribly obnoxious, Sonic, but your honestly might help me on this." to which sonic gives an odd "Ehh? Okay?" insinuating he'll listen. Shadow's voice becomes more insightful, as if pondering to himself, more so than asking Sonic a question, "He calls himself the ultimate arsonal and says he's the Doctor's greatest creation, considering all other models inferior. ...but he seems aggravated when he's reminded that he's still one of them. Omega wants true free will and thinks freedom lies in destroying his creator. But his code won't let him..." He continues in the next panel, as an image of Omega stands ominously, seemingly caught between flames and the eggman empire... Shadow's voice becomes intense, more immersed into his thinking, "When hetries to modify the Doctor's protection data, he crashes. Topaz wonders if instead, he's trying to replace Eggman's empire with GUN. Trick the code. But is replacing one controller with another really freedom?" In the next panel Sonic puts his hands up, casually responding, which surprises shadow, "Mannnn, If that egg had any control over Omega, he'd be sittin' in that Eggtower! Stop gettin' stuck on purpose and just follow your heart!" Despite Sonic telling shadow to drop the overthinking, shadow proposes another question, "Omega doesn't have a heart, he has a code...Is it really possible for Omega to find happiness by denying his primary directive forever?" In the last panel, Sonic seems to become aware that Shadow may not be talking about Omega, as he seems downtrodden as he postulates further, "But then, if he was to have his code rewritten without the Doctor's influence, would he still be the same person? Maybe he would lose it all...even the burden. Would you risk losing him to offer freedom?" Sonic seems tense, wondering if this relates to shadow...

Sonic lays on his back, legs cross and overtop of shadow's back. Shadow's arms are wrapped around sonic, with his legs bend and flat on either side of him, almost like a sploot. "woooooooow, youre pretty flexible fro your age" Sonic says as he pokes shadow's forehead with his finger. Shadow is kissing sonic's chest, looking up with a bit of a annoyed expression, "Of course I am. I'm a hedgehog, idiot" Sonic responds, "I'm not so sure anymore". possibly because shadow's part Black arm or maybe it's because sonic know's shadow has a knot. who knows.

His tongue is inside, foundling the tip, which is the only part that's hard and partly revealed. in the slightly lower panel, we get another angle of this sucking, with shadow's hand tensing as he tries to hold back, "Y-youre evil..." he says, as sonic continues to suck. Sonic finally gives shadow a break, letting him relax. His legs are spread open and his tail wags. Sucking the tip has him a bit overwhelmed. "Sonic..." he says in a heart bubble. Shadow doesn't miss a moment to shout, "You know what I want, hedgehog!" In the final panel, Sonic starts to lick shadow's chest, laughing, "No, you gotta say it~" He rubs his penis on shadow's thigh and holds his arm, as shadow huffs and puffs. He almost seems to growl and sonic continues, "I can't read your mind, shad~" Shadow;s penis is now fully erect and throbbing from the foreplay. "whatta you want, shadow?" Shadow only responds with a growl-like groan as Sonic climbs over him, presumably licking his neck or something similar. In the second panel shadow doesnt miss a beat, quickly grabbing sonic's hand and shoving his tongue into sonic's mouth, explaining, "it was an intermission--give me my snack" He means to say that he hasn't climaxed yet, that the climax will be after the break. Sonic blushes and hearts appear in his eyes, surprised that shadow clearly isn't done. "It feels shrink wrapped?" Shadow says grabbing sonic's lower body tightly. He's alluding to the fact that sonic is tense and needs help taking his penis out. In the third panel, shadow jumps on sonic, pulling him under the panel, "I'll have to open it with my mouth--" to which sonic shouts, "Whoa!!" Shadow stares at sonic with a blank expression, his usual glare. His finger taps as he places the menu on the table. Sonic meanwhile yaps, "You told me to just pick a place so I figured this place since it's new--And smells great each time I run by! I like texmex but you never tried it. I know you like cheese, though, so maybe it won't be too outta your wheelhouse-- I'm glad you're willin' to try it, but I guess this place is a little fancier than I expected, haha. If you don't like it I'll finish your plate so you don't feel like it's a waste, okay?" Sonic doesn't realize that shadow is admiring Sonic's embarrassed smirk. Shadow notes, "How cute" to himself, looking at the way Sonic's muzzle smooches itself with his smile and how his nose wrinkles up. Sonic is none the wiser in the second panel, admitting, "Guess that's on me for not lookin. at the menu first... Kinda pricey huh? I can pay ya back, okay?" He says this with the same cute expression, his nose curled and his finger scratching his head in nervousness. Sonic leans back, putting his arms behind his head and relaxing. He puts his leg up on the chair and uses his other leg to lean the chiar back, pushing against Shadow's chair, in a bit of a flirty gesture, saying, "By the way, since you're prob'ly tired from your GUN missions, we can save the race for next time. How 'bout we just head to my place to digest, play some games, maybe watch a movie?" Shadow blanky responds, "We'll see." As sonic continues, "Tails is staying over a friend's" but he emphasizes, "so we can turn it up real loud, get rowdy, make a mess." Shadow raises the menu to cover his cheeks, which turn red, understanding the remark and implication. He responds with a cold "I see." Sonic, relaxed as ever, doesn't stop pushing, even as Shadow clenches his fist and taps his heel, impatiently... "I'll let you choose the movie. You already know I like high octane action-- don't wimp out with somethin' slow, okay?" Shadow says nothing, only thinking to himself, "Where's that DAMN waiter?!" But he still doesn't tell Sonic to stop.

The first and second panel show the nervous delivery boy moving the bag towards the viwer, where Shadow is, only for him to seemingly jump as Shadow hands him a $20. In the third panel, shadow asks, "Are you okay?" with a somewhat friendly expression, although it's also a bit blank. In the next panel, the delivery boy apologizes and quickly shuffles off. His head is down and hands in his pocket, as Shadow watches him go. In a smaller panel beside the larger one, Shadow seems put off by the interaction, his ears tense. After a short break in the page, a large panel shows Shadow flopping onto the couch, seemingly upset by the way the boy reacted to him. Sonic messes with some things behind him and says, "You having a chat with the guy?", implying he was standing there for longer than expected. Shadow replies with a somber, "Mm." In the first panel, sonic quickly dashes into the seat, seemingly having thrown the trash away and taken his sandwich out. He Smiles, "I found an easy mocha sponge cake recipe." But shadow silently takes a but of his soup. He stares blankly forward, not paying attention as Sonic continues. In the next panel, Sonic explains, "We can add coffee chips to the icing if you want?" But again, Shadow does not respond, only looking at his spoon with a strange expression. A mix of disinterest, annoyance or confusion on his face, it's unclear. In the 3rd panel, sonic takes a bite of of his sandwich and watches Shadow intensly, seeing him playing mindlessly with his food before putting the bowl down in the following panel. Sonic doesnt move, but his eyes turn to look at Shadow. There's a nervousness to him as the view turns top face Shadow in the 5th panel. Shadow is sitting blankly, but there's a subtle melancholy creeping over him, causing Sonic's ear to twitch from the tension. In the next panel, Sonic hops up and shoves the sandwich in his mouth, muttering, "Well if you're not hungry, we can skip to dessert!" In the final panel he leaps over to Shadow, giving him a noogie and cheering, "Come on! Let's make a cake, buddy!" But Shadow seems extremely put off by the gesture. LazyTown's "Cooking" song plays over a collection of playful panels showing the process of cake making. At first we see a collection of items, such as eggs, bowls, flour and sugar. A short break then shows Sonic cracking an egg and another panel shows Shadow's hands pouring sugar or flour, it's not clear. The next panel, thin but wide, shows Sonic mixing the batter with a spoon, the "cooking by the book" lyrics playing with it. In the second to last panel, Sonic carefully pours the batter into a metal tin, with the final image being someone closing the oven, with the cake inside. After the short song break, He see a panel with a timer, which cuts into a panel with Sonic staring at the standing mixer. We can assume the mixture is icing. He smiles, patiently waiting. In the thrid panel, Sonic pushes a spoon towards Shadow, who seems to be caught off guard. He moves away as Sonic says, "Give it a try! Only the best for Earth's hero." In the fourth panel, Shadow seems to pauses, contemplating the term "hero". He blushes slightly, but maybe it is just because he can't fathom licking the spoon in Sonic's hand. He regains his composure in the fifth panel, turning nonchalantly "Tch...I'm more concerned about your mess." In the second to last panel, a shot of Shadow's shoes reveals some mixture and flour on the floor. Sonic quickly retorts the claim, "MINE? It takes TWO to tango." Implying some of the mess is from Shadow. Shadow doesn't waste a second, adding his own wordplay, "Well your "quick step" kicked up the flour". In the last panel, the two continue to make references to dance as we see a collection of dirty dishes and batter spilled all over... Sonic replies, "Youre the one with two left feet, I never touched the dry stuff--" Shadow cuts him off, pointing out, "I'm too sick to salsa, the floor's all yours." Pinning the floor's mess on Sonic alone. "Well," Sonic explains with a smile, "Vanilla once said, 'a mess in the kitchen means the food was made with love" But Shadow sneers, saying, "Do you think you're sly? Using a rabbit to foxtrot around this?" Sonic seems unimpressed by the wordplay, putting his hands up in the next speech bubble, "Alright, Alright, calm down-- Don't need a *Panic at the Disco* (a reference to a band, now only called "panic"). "Keep it up and there'll be *Blood on the Dancefloor* (another reference to a band.).

I couldnt figure out how to draw for a second so I forced myself to draw rouge, who for whatever reason, is impossible to feel comfortable drawing.

She never looks like I want, so y'know. Practice or whatever.

What a wonderful time, this one. No dialogue instantly drew me in, and the beautiful tone and atmosphere really left me feeling something special, ethereal almost.
So glad to have seen it and overall happy to finally be enjoying film again. So many hits lately, damn💙

In the first panel, sonic tenses as he feels shadow press against him, overlooking his shoulder, shadow says starkly, "I told you to stop reading that blog", referring to the image on sonic's phone that reads 'ultimate lifeform latte'. He continues to the next panel, his fur seeming to spark against Sonic's arm, "I would never add nutmeg." In the 3rd panel we get a close up of sonic peering over, inches from shadow's face. While Sonic's eyes are green, shadow's eyes are too... the red is in start contrast to the rings of green around them, seemingly giving Sonic a confusing feeling. He's nervous? In the next two panels, Sonic's quills stand on edge as Shadow fixes the pressure on the espresso machine, before speaking Sonic's name. Hearing this seems to break Sonic out of his confusion and his quills relax. "Sonic, I..." Shadow says reluctantly, preparing a latte. First a shot of the espresso dripping, followed by a shot of Shadow seemingly frothing milk. In the last panel, Shadow seems a bit tense, almost embarrassed, saying, "I appreciate your help... You're not obligated in any way--" But he's cut off. Sonic quickly runs up, playfully elbowing Shadow to cut the tension, "Hey, relax!" Sonic laughs, "You're my friend weather you like it or not! I got your back, man!" which annoys the black hedgehog. Not only did he cut Shadow off, he's also nearly knocked the drink from his hands. Sonic continues, "Besides, you got Amy 'n team dark in your corner. I'd be lucky to survive if anythin' happened to you on my watch!" In the next panel sonic has seemingly backed away, against the counter, shrugging "Especially Meg, that guy hates me." Referring to Omega, who Sonic recalls calling the blue 'hog a "insolent rodent". In the 3rd panel, Shadow has retreated to the couch and seems to smirk, "Myabe it would help to stop calling him 'Meg'." But Sonic scratches his head, unsure, "Myabe it's leftover Egg' Programming" he wonders, as Omega was previously an Eggman controlled bot. In the 4th panel, Sonic hands over the couch, asking casually, "Soooo, how are we feelin'?" And shadow, outside of view, replies with a matter of fact, "Tired." In the 5th panel, Shadow sips his coffee as Sonic explains, "Well y'know, there's a big event happenin' down Neowest. You uh, wanna check it out?" But Shadow ignore him, sipping his coffee. Sonic continues, "Heard there's some Kind of reveal--even the Pres (president) might show up!" Shadow remains silent as Sonic gives it one last try, "Might be good to show your face to the punlic for onceeee~" In a sing song voice. But Shadow is firm, "No". Sonic crosses his arms in the first panel and lets out a whiney, "ShadoOoW, C'mon--" But before he can continue, Shadow, in a straght tone remarks, "I have more important things to do than mingle with the public." But Sonic doesn't buy it, "Lemme guess, you're still barred from events 'n interviews?" Shadow remains forward and dryly remarks, "Don't you nee to pick up the food?" But Sonic replies with a quick "havin' it delivered." before continuing in the 2nd panel, "Can you at least do a blog or somethin'? Or is that against GUN's contract too?" Shadow seems to become impatient for a moment, tapping the mug, asking "Why are you so insistent?" In the 3rd panel, Sonic rubs his nose and explains, concerned, "A lot of people are talking about you right now... Wondering if you went all rouge again. I think the longer you hide, the more theories people will create to explain why you won't show your face." In the 4th panel, Shadow dismisses his concerns, sipping his coffee and telling sonic, "You need to stop reading the headlines." But Sonic leans over the couch and gestures with his hand out, "And YOU need to loosen up-- Why don't we bake somethin'?!" He blurts out. Before Shadow can properly mutter, "w-what?" in confusion, Sonic is already whipping around the kitchen and grabbing the supplies. "I heard in your free time you help Amy open the bakery!" Sonic explains. But shadow seems put off, saying "did you read that from the damn blog?" Sonic doesn't falter, happily reasoning, "Baking is fun, challenging and doesn't require physical strain. Sounds Doctor Sonic approved!" In the first panel, there's a knock at the door. Shadow is facing it as Sonic alerts him, "That's probably the food, can you get it?" The next panel is from outsie the door, the delivery boy waiting and seemingly looking at the bag to confirm, hearing two voices. The first is shadow, "Did you pay ahead?" But Sonic replies surprised, "You can pay ahead?" Before shadow seems to sigh, "Of course you didnt..." In the 3rd panel, the delivery boy quickly hops up, seemingly started by something. He holds the food as if to shield himself. It's revealed in the following 4th panel that he's fearful of shadow, almost backing away as the striped hedgehog stares at him, almost emitting a darkness about him...or maybe he's just imagining it. Finally the boy nervously mutters, "Uh... T-that'll be $12.50?" In the final panel, the two face each other in profile. The delivery boy is tense as Shadow swings his arm up, offering a $20. "Oh uh, l-let me grab you change--" But Shadow cuts him off, not interested in waiting, "No need." he explains, "Just consider it a tip." But Either way, the boy seems to shutter.

Guess it just depends on weather a hero is someone who can put his emotions aside or someone who can use them. Guess they both think the opposite because they have the opposite problems.
