I say mainly because a simple change to someone that familiar with tech like an Android Device or Windows OS can really disorient those that already struggle.

As we advance and everything becomes tech centric the older generation feel growingly more excluded because they struggle with technology.

As for Smartphones I have had a couple Android devices and help people with them weekly… and if you want to side load things understandable their best option.

For me generally Apple devices work best

I’m aware I probably am coming across as some kind Apple fanatic but I for years parroted the same thing about Macs as someone that had only ever used Windows until I got a cheap/old MacBook to see the hype in 2019 (MacBook from 2009) queue my horror as I found it so much more intuitive to me.

MKBHD has mentioned a bunch of times how he gets hate from both sides because he gives his honest opinions on them and treats them (Android and iPhone) as equals.

The best device/OS is the one that serves you best.

Personally I don’t get on well with Samsung devices but thats a me thing.

I’m not saying they’re perfect but I see people being super critical of Apple and just seem to passive on when the competition does the same or worse.

It’s hard for me to give your opinion any weight if you not only have bias but seemingly ignore having it (despite it being glaringly obvious)

Yeah but the issue isn’t with Apple, the thing that bothers me is people make out it’s Apples fault.

There’s still issues with Apple sure but I get really tired of hearing people blaming them when it’s not actually their fault.

One last point to the developers and I guess partially to Apple.

When things like this happen you leave people that want to play the game with the only option of piracy so which I agree with supporting all the work that goes into the game if you leave no other option this is self inflicted damage.

As for the Apple Arcade service itself it’s makes it hard with games because I don’t know how long a game will be on the service and it would be nice to at least have a time frame.

Now when I see games rather than playing at my own pace I feel I have to complete because it could be gone next month.

I can’t understand why you won’t leave an old playable version over no version.

This leaves mostly a bad taste with the developers to me as knowing they have a version that could be sold or left on the service and choosing no give neither tells me how much they value gamers on Apple devices

See a number of games existed on the service and when either the license has lapsed or the developer make a newer version they get removed.

It wouldn’t be so bad if they’re just replacing it but many of them have the newer versions elsewhere and no version on Apple devices

I even tried blocked those ads

The others I keep getting a crypto companies also tried to block but YouTube just stopped blocking them.
