Mark my words: the second American civil war is coming in the next two years. There’s no way a nation can withstand the level of blatant corruption now being exhibited by the Trump administration and not fall apart.
Pierre Poilievre is going to run in a different riding in the next election?! What, did he travel to Drumheller once, take a look around and say, “Ew, gross, I’d rather be caught dead than represent this shithole”?

If it becomes necessary to attack America directly, I suggest we avoid the White House and instead target the true halls of power: Mar-a-Lago.

I don’t think the question of whether NATO can defend Greenland from an American invasion is important. I think the more pertinent question is how many soliders’ lives are the American people willing to throw away to satisfy Donald Trump’s ego? I’m betting it’s a low number.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

I’ve seen the video of that ICE agent shooting that woman in the vehicle. Don’t believe whatever spin that this administration tries to put on it - that shooting was straight-up murder. ICE agents are now executing civilians.

Re-watching the Fallout Season 1 finale, I realize that the tiny car that Budd parks outside of the Vault-Tec building is an amusing bit of foreshadowing that the stupid bastard would eventually turn himself into a mini-sized Robobrain.

The thing I’m looking forward to most in 2026 is the death of Donald Trump from old age. As I’ve said, I don’t think he’s going to make it to the end of the year or even to the start of July.

Granted, the old man’s death isn’t going to magically pull America back from the brink of fascism. /1

The true victim of “Midsommar” is that poor bear. Kept in a cage for days, then killed and gutted to serve as a suit for a sacrificial ritual. Pour one for my ursine homie. 😢

Darwin: We’re tramps now. It’s not unlike being a scientist, but … with less experiments and more drinking your own sweat.

I saw someone say that Pete Hegseth and presumably other members of the Trump administration will never see prison because Donald will issue a blanket pardon for their crimes.

Here’s the thing, though: the pardons issued by a corrupt dictator only matter if people allow them to matter.

Susan Dell makes me wonder if there are actual demons walking the earth and inhabiting the dead bodies of the rich and powerful. Good Lord.

This is a pretty good article explaining why the "Trump Accounts" are being dressed up as a boon to families, but are masking the fact that America is now depending on the supposed largesse of billionaires to prop up a failing system. www.counterpunch.org/2025/12/04/t...
The Biggest Heist in America Is Being Sold as a Gift to Children
America loves a good illusion. It loves the performance of generosity from people who built their fortunes on systems that leave everyone else scrambling.

Now that we know the sequel is coming in April 2026, BHVR should look into making Grace from Ready or Not as a Survivor Dead by Daylight. Make it a tie-in to the movie's release.

Donald Trump’s time on this Earth is rapidly dwindling, but the same can’t be said for his sycophants. One day, God willing, Pete Hegseth will be on trial for war crimes.

Got around to watching Good Boy on Shudder. I found it to be more sad than frightening - essentially, it is about a dog trying desperately and ultimately failing to protect its owner from a malevolent force - though I still did quite enjoy it.

Legal Eagle makes the case that the U.S. is sliding quickly into full-blown authoritarianism and most people do not grasp the scope or severity of the crimes being committed by the Trump administration. The one ray of hope is the incompetence of King Donald and his goons. youtu.be/zn-rkKIMNAs?...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: why do the media bother to engage with Donald Trump? He's either spouting complete lies, a stream of senile nonsense or nasty insults aimed predominantly at female reporters. Like, I know he's the President, but the man has nothing worthwhile to say.

Saskatchewan is now projecting a $427 million deficit in part due to increased firefighting costs, which is tied to the effects of climate change. And yet, our government wants to spend nearly $1 billion to extend our coal plants, which are a major contributor to climate change. 😒

Predator: Badlands was really good, definitely on par with Prey. Some of the action scenes are a little hard to follow and there are a couple of “how did he accomplish that” moments, but it’s a solid 8/10 in terms of its story.

Geez, I don’t know why people don’t love this new invention that’s taking away their jobs, driving up their power bills, destroying human creativity and despoiling the environment.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has learned what everyone who opposes Donald Trump has known for years: he has no allies or friends. He has an army of dupes that he would betray without a second thought if it benefited him to do so.

Green Party leader Elizabeth May made the right choice in backing the Liberals and passing their budget. Nobody would be served by having another election right now.

That said, if Carney fails to deliver on his promise to meet Canada’s climate targets, then it will be time to hold them to account.

Why do reporters even bother to engage with Donald Trump? He's either lying, rambling nonsensically or just straight up insulting them when he's posed a tough question.

I know he's the President, but for Christ's sake, U.S. media, what are you actually getting out of these press conferences?

I’m reminded of the 1993 Jean Claude Van Damme movie “Hard Target” (directed by John Woo, incidentally) where the villains are mercenaries that organize elaborate hunts of homeless people for rich clients. youtube.com/shorts/iH_5T...

I think MAGA cultists could get past Donald fucking underage girls, but when coupled with all the other shit like the skyrocketing cost of living, the $40 billion bailout to Argentina, the $300 million ballroom and his comments on H1-B visas, their faith may be finally crumbling.
