Camila is a delight to both write and draw, a loving and caring kid who is trying to be mature and serious, but whose inexperience and anxious mind leads to trouble for her those around her. Took me a while to nail down the design but she’s turned out great

I’m putting a lot of passion into this, and I hope y’all will enjoy me showing off the process as it develops.

Cuerpo y Alma is written as a 2D animated miniseries, but my goal with the project right now is to make a short proof of concept that show off a bit of the story and characters to try and push for a bigger production later on.

It’s an urban fantasy tale that takes many elements of Mexican history and urban legends, set in the fictional city of Soledad in the 1930s

The movie has issues, definitely. But it’s kinda clear by the end that they werent doing Tron 3 with this… more of a spin-off. And it works for what it is. Still actively against many of the choices done in the marketing and casting end though, and if I had to do a rewatch I’d just do Uprising again

Ok, I think I’ve reached unbelievable levels of looking too deep… because the memory motif felt to me like a challenge to the Citadel’s dies irae, a haunting “we’ll thrive in spite of you” tune… but the more I listen to it… is it an inverted HK theme??? HOW TF?!

It’s really good. Best way that I can pitch it is as a cosmic horror religious mystery. The first arc was the “wtf is going on” phase.
At least for now, the spectrum of light seems to work on a very different way than in the regular universe, emotion is relevant, but with a very different approach

I have my gripes with some of the Act 3 game design, but this? Pure unadulterated joy. Feels so weird to finally be this close to the end
