Biggest takeaway was I didn't need to bring games with me -- the library was well-stocked at all times. Favorite game I don't already own was either Indonesia or Roads and Boats. Indonesia is a slick, if math-heavy set of auctions, and while R+B is fiddly it's also peak engine building/logistics.

Day 4 wrap-up. Was in no way stressed out at the beginning of the day when playing Bus for bragging rights 😅. Made the mistake of thinking learning Duck Dealer would cool me down, then I finished the day by touching some grass. Had an amazing time all weekend and can't wait to go back next year!

Day 3 of #Splottercon2025. A big teaching day for me -- I think every game I played today except Greed Inc was one that I taught.

Kicking myself for losing Indonesia the way I did. Great Zimbabwe is fragile how you can win pretty quick unless people pay attention but those are skill issues I guess.

been a bit since i've played but it looks like Rxd3 keeps the opponent from going Kxd8 cuz then you'll take the knight. With Bxd3, black can go Kxd8 and by the time the white bishop is out of the way black can push a pawn to protect a knight
