It’s super good when you can season the seitan to your own tastes as you’re making it.

The sides are the best part anyway.

I don’t know if you’ve ever made your own seitan but we did our own seitan roast a couple years ago and I was stunned at how not-a-pain-in-the-ass it was.

I always think back to Al Gore and his desire not to drag America through a drama and make himself and the party look bad. I think that attitude is the driving force behind Democratic leadership.

My dude, there is no more important moment to put America through a drama.

When the shitter’s full you gotta do what you gotta do.

(Also- rv toilets aren’t chemical toilets. They’re just a big plastic tub full of yuck you have to empty.)

I absolutely love L.A. Story. I liven in L.A. at the time and the film captures the essence of that place and that time so perfectly. A beautiful and magical story.

Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Bronson Pincot, and a just-off-camera Val Kilmer as Elvis. It’s beautiful.

*except for the Architect scene in the Matrix. But they earned that moment.

I love this film. “It’s fuckin’ dark in here.”

So many clever choices. The Wachowski sisters understand they’re creating stories that will be communicated visually and know when to let the images rather than the words twll the story which is an unfortunate rarity in film, TV, and comics.

Yeah, this. Once I realized I was more than likely arguing with an algorithm I stopped engaging.

(No, I’m not gonna tell you what it was. I don’t badmouth creative work unless it’s corporate and obviously written top-down.)

So, so glad I passed on my invitation.

I think he was trying to get her killed. I just don’t believe he was that stupid but I’m willing to be proven wrong.
