On a happier note, I am currently gigantic and exhausted but otherwise feeling pretty good. Baby boy’s got another ~6 weeks to marinate. Gained more than double the “recommended” pregnancy weight because I’m an overachiever.

Ruby was found as a malnourished puppy on the side of the road in a rural part of the Central Valley. We thought she was mostly red heeler, but her DNA test showed that she’s only about 65%. She’s also 15% Aussie shepherd, 15% border collie, and, my personal favorite, 5% “super mutt” 😭🥰
