Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

So Empathy is considered a sin now, huh? Perhaps some of these so-called MAGA pastors should stop their improv rendition of "Old Man Rages at Clouds" long enough to actually READ that book which serves as the foundation of their religion. Maybe get to the new testament? Some eye-opening stuff there.

Had to make this argument AGAIN today. On Reddit proper, no less. Poster has more comment and post Karma than god and should definitely be able to create a sub. Yet there they were, whining about how "unfair" and untruthful reddit is for letting mods delete his posts. Just... go make your own sub?
Wasn't that by design though? I've always taken the whole point of reddit to be that if you don't like a subreddit, make your own.

Of course this is the case: it's simply not profitable for people to live that much longer past their prime working years. We're only valuable if we can enrich the billionaire class; otherwise we're expendable. No other excuse for how we treat our poor, disabled, sick, or aged v. other dev. nations.
