FWIW, I don't think this SHOULD extend to phyrexian mana, but phyrexian mana in its initial concept was one big mistake. AWBO fixed it by still tying cards to their CI through their costings, but pandora's box can't be unopened and the original cards can't just be conveniently forgotten.

Hybrid mana should have just been OK'd a long time ago, tbh. If you can play a card ONLY using a single colour, then it should be absolutely fine to be in that CI. This DOES allow for some weird shit like Leyline of the Guildpact in as little as mono-green but why does that have to be a probelm?
