Say what you want about the Hardsuit Labs version of Bloodlines 2, at least it looked like a fucking RPG.
A little janky? Sure. Maybe a bit too ambitious? Absolutely.
But, that's what VTMB was.

Here's apparently a really hot take, Griffith was not evil the whole time and he had genuine love and affection for Guts prior to his imprisonment.
This idea that Griffith was some amoral, evil being from the jump doesn't square with what I've just seen.

Star Wars Visions is still the only Star Wars thing that gets me to care about Jedi surviving Order 66 stories.

So, in brief, in VtMB2 you can't play as one of the most iconic VtM clans unless pay extra. You can't play as Nosferatu at all despite their similarly iconic status in the franchise.
And, you can't even pick up a gun and shoot a guy.
