Bone Temple was great. Loving Jack O Connell as Jimmy shows how important community and others are; if you went through what jimmy went through as a kid and had no one around to support you or tell you otherwise, you would grow up believing what he did. Howzat.

Bone Temple was great. Loving Jack O Connell as Jimmy shows how important community and others are; if you went through what jimmy went through as a kid and had no one around to support you or tell you otherwise, you would grow up believing what he did. Howzat.
@ghibliotheque watched the man who planted trees the other day; absolutely fantastic stuff. Maybe the most thought provoking thing I’ve watched in a looooong time; great recommendation

Caught up on the latest mission impossible last night; didn’t understand a word of the plot about the entity though was fun watching Tom trying to get out of the submarine and hold onto a plane
Catching up on @kermodeandmayo.bsky.social and agree with Mark's take on Deliver Me from Nowhere; its strength is showing people the actual work that goes into writing and making music which is all the more relevant in a streaming age where its devalued and pretty disposable.

Caught up on #XMen97 and its writing is sharper, the characters have more depth and it moves from just entertaining kids to being about something. The fact people in it are volunteering to be a part of the villains programme, is an astute observation of our current times.

Still can't believe there were swathes of articles about "why does Gen Z like Rumours?" when surely the answer is simply - because its a fucking amazing album?? Haha why do we have to unnecessarily over analyse every little bit of joy people have in their lives

Caught up with Alien: Earth - liked it! Friend and I were trying to work out though, does the xenomorph have eyes under that visor thing? Is the visor it's one giant eye? Is it blind? Does it see heat? Echo location? Never thought about it before...

Got some good news today; a song I wrote 2 years ago got a commended 4 stars entry in the uk songwriting contest! Obviously super stoked considering 5 stars is a finalist/semi finalist so I came just outside of that. More on my insta: thatmasonboii
