What a nice send off for such a beautiful series! Sketchy is a lovely tale focusing on women in skateboarding with themes of finding your passion, enjoying the moment, and learning that’s it’s never too late to start something new! Really enjoyed this short but sweet series!

Righteous Gemstones - Hilarious and heartfelt. Man, what a great show! Ridiculous, entertaining, poignant, endearing; there are so many ways to describe this show, but I really loved it. One of the best shows I’ve watched in a long time

Hollow Knight - Awesome - Genuinely a well crafted, super fun game! Brutally difficult at times, I enjoyed myself through every hardship and area! Definitely want to revisit to get everything in the game 🫡

Medalist Season 1: Amazing!! What a fantastic anime! Loved this adaptation quite a bit, especially seeing how seamless the 2D and 3D animation are melded together! Can’t wait for the next season~

Arcane Season 2 - mixed bag - While I did enjoy the season overall, there were quite a few pacing issues and in my opinion a lack of focus that really bogged down a lot of the emotional moments. The show still looks absolutely incredible and I suggest watching it just for that really!

The Day the Earth Blew Up - 5 BIG 💥 - ton of fun! Genuinely hilarious at so many different points, and while some of the jokes will probably age, it’s still fantastic 2D animation that’s a must watch!

Night in the Woods - Meh. - I was expecting more after finishing this game. Loved the visual style and the side characters, but wow, I REALLY did not like the main character, and I’m not ecstatic about the twist that happens in the back end. Really wanted more from this game tbh.

The Artist - Magnifique! - winner of the best picture in 2011 and well deserving! An almost completely silent film that has some remarkable performance and a story chock full of strong themes that make it really entertaining watch from start to finish!

Ranma 1/2 remake - fun stuff! - I really enjoyed this adaptation! It oozes with style and captures the original series pretty well! Great entry point into the series for those who have never read/watched the original series!

Circe - genuinely amazing! - I thoroughly enjoyed this!! Probably one of my favorite novels I’ve read in a long time! Mixes classic Greek mythology with modern storytelling for an overall enjoyable experience. I love Circe as a character, and it’s really wonderful to watch her character change 1/

Oldboy - Huh? - this movie was WILD. So many twists and turns that it kinda made my head spin, but wow, it was really good!! Highly suggest looking up any content warnings beforehand though because it’s got a LOT of sensitive content

Dogs and Punching Bags - Healing on the Island 🏝️- a pretty fun read! I like the characters and the pacing of the story! The art is by far the best part though! My biggest gripe really is that the main antagonist (who is a terrible person) gets a redemption that doesn’t feel deserved…

Dorohedoro - SHOCKING! - What a fun series!! Q Hayashida’s totally wacky and gory series is a really wonderful time!! Great characters with strong world building and really beautiful sketchy art makes for such an entertaining read! While the ending wasn’t the best, I still highly suggest reading!

Dorohedoro - SHOCKING! - What a fun series!! Q Hayashida’s totally wacky and gory series is a really wonderful time!! Great characters with strong world building and really beautiful sketchy art makes for such an entertaining read! While the ending wasn’t the best, I still highly suggest reading!

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 - Did we need this?: I’ve been a huge fan of the series (both comic and show), and while I will say I did enjoy this season, there were a whole host of issues that really took away from it being as fun as S1 and S2. 🫡
