Agree with your comments, but this is the key. "Does it matter in day to day interactions?" It's an important Q and one that impinges on the stigma (& by extension health care) of people living w hep B

Mouse model a bit out of context: direct IV injection and immunocompromised. Undetectable HIV can be transmitted via blood transfusion, but that doesn't stop U=U for most every day interactions. Probably the same for hbv.
