Broadway always brings me back to the magic of the world. What a show! I'll admit I did jump a couple of times. They got me!

What a waste of time! I waited an hour to finally get in the Ticketing Portal just to watch all my World Cup info get erased in an error message over and over again until my time expired... FIFA.com you have to do better.

This is a New York City closed street in Sunnyside Gardens, Queens.

Everyone walks around and waves hello. Kids ride their bikes. Dogs enjoy a stroll. Cars carefully enter or exit the space. Cyclists slow down. You can feel the wind blow and hear the birds chirp. It's busy and quiet. What a space!

MJ the Musical at the Neil Simon Theatre

The music was wonderful, the dancing - impeccable, the acting - powerful, the stage - immersive, and the message - distinct. Thank you for a great show!

This is why art matters 🤗

Highly recommend this show!

Listening to everyone speak at the New York Build 2025 EXPO is really bringing back some hope for the world. Thank you!

4/5 I'm becoming very fond of the spaces between residential buildings. You know, the fenced-off patches of grass. Could they be a solution to the missing third spaces? Maybe some of these spaces are by the water or have urban farming? I used ai to help set the picture.

3/5 And my questions continue.. Are there any public spaces beyond a park where kids could play? Anywhere we could play as adults? Are we getting enough daily sunlight and fresh air? Is there a biophilic opportunity in the solution for affordable living in an urban environment?

2/5 We have a place to rest and a place to work (sometimes those spaces are the same if you work from home). I'm interested in finding those third spaces where we can live and enjoy with others. Where can we go to quietly read to ourselves or laugh out loud with friends?

1/5 I'm attempting to develop a catalog of spaces that facilitate community quality of life. My question begins with: What kind of spaces allow for enough security in people to express themselves in comfort? Where do people want to go after work or on weekends? And with whom?

1/2 Using AI to help imagine innovative affordable housing solutions in NYC. The idea is to design structures that ensure access to streetlevel and courtyard sunlight and take advantage of prevailing wind directions for natural cooling.

Some more ai generated renders of these types of "in-between" spaces.

A ferry ride from Wall Street, Manhattan to Greenpoint, Brooklyn. NYC is changing, and my friends are leaving or dreaming of leaving... Who is this new city for?

Entering 2025, I'm reminded of my 2019 Inktober sketch, depicting the word 'Mindless.' At the time, I couldn't help but wonder if the orange man would ever be held accountable. And here we are today..

This year, let's stick together, keep our cool, and prepare for literally anything.

3/3: network of memorable destinations, unlocked alleyways, pedestrian friendly destinations, urban street and pathway convergences, pattern of alleyways, expanding alleyways, in-between plazas, and walkable solar & wind community pathways.

2/3: I've seen these terms used throughout many projects and I'm curious to learn if it already has an established name/ typology: active alleyways, street level activators, pedestrian corridors, public realms, activated realms, pedestrian-oriented limited-vehicle networks, mixed-use urban quarters,

1/3: Architects, Urban Planners, Landscape Architects, Engineers.. do we have a consensus on what we're calling the ground level spaces in between buildings? The potential for quality of life designs/ community spaces are endless! (AI images are my own, used for reference)
