They signed into their alt because they thought this could happen and didn’t want to lose their access to the community. Others have wanted to say something, but were afraid.
Weirdly still only affected their alt and my main account. Reddit’s backend can’t handle this sort of situation, apparently 🤷‍♀️

My most recent contributions to that sub beforehand were various outfit pics. Like, come on…what harm to the subreddit was I causing by being cute and shining a light on a genocide

I’m guessing it is because it wasn’t about Palestine, since that’s apparently the only genocide talk allowed

All I want is to be able to talk with my fellow queers in r/lgbt. Never broke a rule then or before, that I’m aware of or was told about, so the permaban from there makes no sense.

Again: please spread the word that r/lgbt is run by transphobes. Happy to discuss anything about it in more detail

They’re having a hard time understanding why nobody is paying attention to this issue and why Reddit/mods will ban without thinking.

I can’t understand it either, just seems like a power trip and the mods hating being called out on bigotry while running one of the biggest LGBTQ+ “safe spaces”

The mods of the sub and Reddit have not responded to anything about this the past month. Not even worth trying to appeal, they will claim something about same IP address or something because they signed into their alt at my place.
