The 2024 election took place a week before my birthday. I was so traumatized by the results that my wonderful husband made sure that we were out of the country while the inauguration took place. Here are some photos from our delightful, but brief exile in Guadalajara. 🇲🇽❤️

T-minus seven days until Mexico. 🇲🇽🌞

Went back to my old gym today for the first time since May. The pool had been closed since then while they constructed an entirely new pool complex complete with a new saltwater pool. My verdict? 👍🏻👍🏻

Not sure that I can replicate that afternoon beach vibe from last week here in frigid Manhattan. 🥶

Back home in New York and missing those gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on the Outer Banks last week.

My first walk on the beach during our annual New Year’s trip to the Outer Banks prompted happy memories of my late mother’s love of the ocean. ❤️
