I would agree with that. The current work on that section is costing upwards of £120m and it is just a patch, not a long term fix. People always suggest extending the subway to improve transport in Glasgow but as we know that is not an easy option either

I shared your article on the Glasgow sub reddit asking if the same approach would benefit Glasgow. As you can probably imagine opinion was split

I get that Joy wants to have a relationship with her grandchildren, I did wonder if she looked after them at some point when they were younger while Rochelle was away being a 'free spirit'

Is that the Catty queue on the left?

Yes, if you are part of a couple and live in the same house then both partners are approved. Harrison could be the main carer but Fallon would definitely need to be on board too. Not that it's relevant here but any kids living in the house need to be in agreement & over 16s are subject to DBS checks

I can see where you are coming from, but I think their differing thoughts about parenthood would be a red flag during the assessment. Having said that, it is a drama, so anything is possible.

No only is there no upper age limit there is no pension provision so many foster carers end up having to keep going longer than they would choose. I think Kirsty would make the best foster carer in Ambridge

He did say that Susan and the kids knew, but maybe she has just enough emotional intelligence not to be telling everyone his story.

Yes, all too often dramas use the all foster parents are evil line. Really refreshing to hear him speak of them so fondly. Luckily kids are not longer expected to move on at 16, my heart ached for 16yo Neil moving out to make room for other kids.

I know lots of children and young people who have been brought up in care and yes, some will tell everyone all the details, others will never let anyone know their situation. You might know other people with a similar experience who have never mentioned it. Definitely depends on their personality

I'm here for that. Especially if Jill puts her hip out of joint in the process and has to be airlifted from the summit

Even Brian would be a better choice for Santa

Sexy coffee I'm guessing?

Foster care is the only role where you are assessed, supervised and trained by people who have never done the job. We are not seen as specialists in our own right and have a very low status alongside other professionals. It's one of the reasons the support we receive is so poor.

My mum used to say that was the only tree on Argyle St. I'm not sure if that is still true but it is a glorious tree. She remembered it from the 1940s when her grandparents lived across the road
