I‘m sure there’s a better and more eloquent way to put it, but it fills me with a very wierd mix of frustration and hope that your average sensible queer person would rather sit with, and is more likely to meet a receptive ear from, the Pope than the New York Times or the BBC.

That email was Epstein trying to sink Trump's presidential campaign because he knew how bad he was.
That was also a shock, I had assumed the man had no principles left at all.
Fortunately he's dead so I don't have to hand it to him.

The one part I really didn't expect is the NYT running *active* interference all the way back to 2015.
I didn't think I still had enough respect for the Times that it could disappoint me but there you go.
