Even though there are days when I feel blind in my anger, it still doesn't feel like the fires burning within me are enough. How could I ever truly capture of the magnitude of what's been taken from us while they continue to take, trivialize, and condescend?

It just never feels like enough.

My anger isn't born out of sheer vengeance, but rather it serves as a searing acknowledgement of what we've missed out on because of capitalism, racism, colonialism... every single system of oppression has sought to deprive us of joy, pleasure, autonomy. All to prop up a select group of white men.

...we would be unable to see anything beyond that. We could no longer conduct business because that it all seem so trivial in comparison.

To continue onto work and feeling the rage as a simmering undertone to each conversation we have while we try to carry on as normal?
If we let the full weight of what has happened to Black folks in this country, those affected by diasporas, and Indigenous folks in this country sit with us...
