We had another surprise thunderstorm today - not in the forecast until it was on top of us. Trump's NWS cuts are actively endangering my field crew, especially since there were flash floods with no warning.

Having a clean record is proof of being a criminal, apparently. This is exactly why we need the humanities in schools, otherwise people with no idea of how to structure logical arguments end up in positions of power

This feels like a metaphor for a certain version of adulthood. I do love tunicates though, they're beautiful and have been one of my favorite animals since learning about them in a comparative vertebrate anatomy class
