The shut down of TikTok and the loss of so much education, film analysis, BookTok, even sea shanties: really has me thinking about the digital dark age we could be entering and how fleeting so much of our artistic and intellectual work is.

My last two videos on #tiktok were @thenerdypriest.bsky.social and @miriamanzovin.bsky.social. I’m ok with that. To anyone paying attention, those two accounts sum up many of the reasons TikTok is so dangerous; because they foster empathy and understanding. And yes, eggs are cheaper in China.
