#Japan45 #Wargaming #Grognard #WDS In the east, I Corps has managed to secure all its Day 1 objectives, though there is still a Japanese bunker between 33 & 41 Infantry that will need to be eliminated. All in all, progress is going well, and Miyazaki should be taken tomorrow morning, November 5th

In the west, the Marines of V Marine Corps have cleared their beaches and are resting before tomorrows assault. 5 Marines will push south and clear the ridge; 3 Marines will move north over the hills to get into position. #Japan45 #Wargaming #Grognard #WDS

Well, its the end of Night 1, and XI corps has finally managed to burn out the last of the Japanese defenders in the middle of their lines. An ad hoc mix of Shermans, Engineers, and Cavalry (inset) finished them off.
