Really the only games I buy immediately the last few years are like my "core" franchises with RE, Metroid, MonHun, and Doom. It helps that I discovered I can also just rent games I want to play from the library for free if I want to play it within a month or two of release.

I have small complaints but really my only real problem was i found it was too effective! 😅 Those kids got under my skin and made for a (purposefully!) unpleasant watch.

As a Halo fan who didn't get into the series until like 2021 it's so devastating to know I never experienced the franchise during when it was good.
