My wife and I always pack little gift bags for our flight attendants on both legs of any trip. They have always appreciated the gesture and have done a little bit extra to make our flights enjoyable.

Similar thing happened to me. Saw the name of a friend from elementary school that I hadn't talked to in decades, and when I went to google them, turns out they'd died during COVID.

20 was the last one I attended. Since I don't live in the same city anymore it made it so much easier.
