I hear JD Vance decided to open a Bluesky account recently, in case you needed to learn how to block someone on here.

Ok guys. Let’s get real here.

A one-day economic boycott is not going to change things.

Lets do this:

- Stop buying non-necessities.
- Stop using Amazon
- When you do buy: buy local, from
small businesses, and use cash

Do this until it hurts, and things start to change.

Any ideas?

“It has become ever more apparent that to our president the rule of law is but an impediment to his policy goals. In this courtroom, and under my watch, the rule of law is a bright beacon which I intend to follow.”

-Judge John Coughenour, stopping Trump’s birthright citizenship ban

Damn right.

I don’t see any evidence to suggest that the greed of the ultra-rich has any limits. They won’t stop until we stop them.

I completely understand that you can’t fight to preserve democracy using undemocratic means. Totally get it, and glad our transfer of power was peaceful this time. All of that said, did it have to happen on Jan 6? Feels like our noses are being rubbed in it. This sucks.

I cannot recommend On Tyranny by #timothysnyder enough. There is a thunderbolt of insight on every single page. The qualifying question for admission to to the #bluesky community ought to be “Have you read this book?”

A genuinely good man, who cared about people, and worked his ass off to make things better. America didn’t give him enough credit.

If anyone needs a sign from on high that MAGA-world is lying to us (and always was), here you go.
Vivek is getting hit by the truth again.

👏👏👏👏👏 - well done, Costco. Proud to be a member.
Costco responded to shareholders requesting that it withdraw from DEI policies. The response was direct and to the point: Costco says, "Our board has considered this proposal and believes that our commitment to an enterprise rooted in respect & inclusion is appropriate & necessary."

❤️COSTCO♥️

If a church doesn’t have a food pantry or a soup kitchen or a closet full of clothes and blankets open to the public or isn’t showing up at natural disasters to help, why does that church have a tax-exempt status?

OhpleaseOhpleaseOhplease let this be a place for us to see what friends and family are up to and hear what intelligent people think of the world, and not a medical waste dumpster burning in the middle of an alligator ranch.
