I had this weird nightmare. I found a song I really liked from a random playlist. It was beautiful and sounded vaguely familiar. I played it over and over again. One day, I looked up the artist to learn more about them. I learned that the artist, and the song I liked, was completely AI-generated.

I have a new dilemma. I wrote a new song that definitely doesn't fit any "calm" category. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Maybe I need an alter-ego artist name for these types of songs: That Raging Piano Guy? 😆

With AI being the hot topic these days, I just wanted to put this out there: my music is 100% human-made, with all its imperfections. I'm not against AI as a tool, but I prefer the old-fashioned approach of actually sitting down at the keyboard and making music for the joy of it.

Good advice of the day: don't compare yourself to others. Instead, realize that whoever you are and whatever you can do now is great.

Is there anything better than starting the morning with a delicious cup of coffee while practicing some music? I'm not sure why, but I've found it's the best time to work out those hard musical passages or learn something new. It's a magical time!
