I oftentimes don't know what I'm doing - but I'll post something here once in awhile that might be silly.
Also autism is a thing.

Precisely. That would make sense.

For whatever reason, my mind was thinking of "Air Bowling" for DSiWare.

The massive video might one day come out, but I'm not going to be able to 100% promise that anymore.

But I want to promise - that I will do anything to get my thoughts out.

[I agree]

What happens if you don't buy the game, because the game got delisted before then?

What if you're born after the game is delisted?

What if your hardware one day dies, in spite of your best efforts?

What if the company in question goes bankrupt or disappears silently, thus no more re-releases?

Technically yes - but those problems go beyond that.

Switch 2 Cartridges have been arbitrarily limited to 64 GBs or Bust. Meanwhile, the Switch 1 had 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 GB sizes.

For Switch 2 Games under that size (even 0.9 GBs) they're paying more absorbent prices for wasted space. [1/7]

They don't want to pay $16 on a $20 game cartridge, so it's *their* fault?

And not the multi-billion dollar company for giving them the option of 64 GBs, or don't put the game out physically otherwise? [See Thread for Elaboration]

What is your goal with this statement?

Forgot to mention - but to also clarify, Blue Ray Discs generally don't have this issue as often. It's much easier to put the full game on disc, and the costs tend to be much cheaper.

Also - people *are* upset with digital on Xbox & PS, just people are more often concerned of other factors.

There's nothing wrong with liking Nintendo in spite of these problems.

Just understand that not everyone is having fun with that, and not everyone may be aware of the problems at hand.

Stay safe out there - and stay knowledgeable, alright? [7/7]

I'd imagine a lot of people would buy the Switch 2, if Nintendo was still Nintendo.

What people want is the company that gives fun times for the cheap prices you pay for.

Most don't want to buy into an ecosystem with empty cartridges and unimpressive ports on overpriced, outdated hardware. [6/7]

All Nintendo has to do - is give companies cheaper cartridge sizes. But until then, both are losing out.

Mixed with premium pricing of the Switch 2 - both games & console wise - it's become undesirable for consumers, less profits for unsold units, and thus Nintendo is under a lot of flack. [5/7]

To digital owners, they would just buy digitally, as you still need the cartridge to keep "ownership" and access of a digital game.
To physical owners, they don't get the preservation or posthumous resell value in the future.

Nobody but Nintendo wins, and consumers are not okay with that. [4/7]
November 11, 2025 at 4:08 PM
Consumers want physical in part due to the desire of preservation. Game Key Cards still rely upon access to Eshop servers.

If the cartridge requires servers to be useful, the benefits of physical aren't there, nor is the benefit of digital felt, as you need the cartridge to play the game. [3/7]
