The fun thoughtplay is that there might be a civilization living in that umbrella that has an absolutely gorgeous nightsky.
However, the stars in the umbrella might be too young or the environment might just be way too hostile for life to evolve (I have no idea).

On the forest path, I come across two elderly ladies on an evening walk and I just casually say (out of courtesy): "evening".
