I love being an advanced reader for indie/less known authors, it brings my soul joy. CG Drews has another YA horror coming out this summer that also looks promising 😍

Both of those previous recs can technically be found in bookstores, but they’re still drastically underrated. I love cozy paranormal romances and help promote some indie authors who write them actually. Aimee Vance & B. Perkins, SE Wendel, and Hazel Mack are all fantastic authors

Okay so I’m not a huge horror girlie, BUT I was an advanced reader for “don’t let the forest in” by cg drews & LOVED it. It’s YA, queer botanical horror. I’m currently devouring “heavenly tyrant” by xiran zhao, it’s a sequel to “iron widow” & sci-fi. Very much anti capitalist 🤌🏻

I also hated it and DNF-ed 🤣
