I saw a raven in the wild for the first time today. Poor light meant a bad photo, but hearing it call as it drifted across the tops of pine trees was something special

Saw a Woodcock, silhouetted against the last of the freezing sun. Genuinely beautiful.
I also saw a Red Crested Pochard (pictured) so that’s two lifers in a day. I am happy
