Here's an interesting tidbit - Louis L'Amour, one of the best-selling authors in the Westerns genre, claimed he never wrote westerns. He claimed he wrote pioneer stories.

I think the racial humor alone would get it thrown out of production. Too many people don't see Brooks is making fun of racism by spoofing it.
