I’ve seen more than my fair share of axolotls on the bluesky lately! This makes me so happy. I love these creatures!
One time I painted one as a surprise Christmas mini exchange for a friend. I would love to make a whole axolotl village one day!!

Oh my heckin’ god, yes. Eliot. But sometimes also Quentin, especially in THAT episode. Few times in that series I was moved as I was the first time I saw that.

This is so neat to see! Which program do you prefer for your art? I recently started dabbling around with digital art in ProCreate (as my only option), but I like to ask what other people use too. I axolotl questions, sorry! 😉

Oh, dang! That’s amazing. That wouldn’t even fit in my light box, I don’t think. So cool!
I’m going to have a hard time photographing this cathedral I just printed too. But that’s a problem for another day - going to be while before I actually get it painted. I’m aiming to fresco the whole roof. 😂

Yup! Dollar store glitter for the win. This one was a hard piece to photograph due to its size, and this app won’t let me upload video, but here are a few other angles. I’ve used glitter on a handful of other miniature bases to decent effect.

Here’s a my top three! A Reaper Marid I did last year with a coral ocean base, a clam-loving ogre porte, and since it’s #smaugust again - my fiery draggo from last year. The last thing I finished was this pair of demon statues.

It'll eventually be part of an entire ttrpg fantasy village, though definitely the most elaborate and noticable building for sure.

Not sure how long in total, I've been working on it a while. Sometimes I was running 3-5 plates a day, others less. Many days none at all, depending on my work schedule.
I bookmarked a few reference photos, still not 100% certain where I'll land. Plan to make it pretty elaborate though!

My largest resin print to date! 23 plates on a standard Mars 3 Elegoo resin printer. 2.577 kg of SunLu standard resin.
I left 3 major seams unglued so I can still paint it relatively easy. Now I just need to find the time!
