Maybe I should do what one of my former coworkers did and make a spreadsheet of all of the games I play so I can keep tabs on progress and stopping playing one for a while doesn't feel like I'm going to forget it

It is!! I just wish I played it when my coworkers were talking about it at lunch every day LOL

If something I really care about comes out, like a XIV patch or expac, or persona 6 I guess, or idk, I'll do it, but I'm also behind on persona games because I got into XIV right when P5R came out and now I can't be bothered

And I'm determined to take out my backlog before starting new things, so like right now it's FFXIV, Mistria, and Metaphor

But I've been a year behind on games for...a while

I think it's both that it takes so much for me to want to start a new game and sometimes I genuinely need to hear how much people like it first

But then I also mentally categorize video games as tasks and I feel like I have three slots at a time for video games
