Most species groups are not in Good Environmental Status in any region. At the same time, intense pressures and impacts are recorded almost everywhere, though a few exceptions exist for certain pressures in specific regional seas. #GES

We found evidence for more than 700 local extinctions all around the world. Most local extinctions were recorded in the Temperate Northern Atlantic and Central Indo-Pacific.
